Metro Sterilizer Medical maintenance agreements are divided into two categories. Each version is intended to benefit the group or clinics sterilizing department needs. The first is a binding contract ,while the second is a casual non-binding agreement for the sole purpose of monitoring and certifying for insurance purposes.

The first is a building contract, while the second is a casual non-binding agreement for the sole purpose of monitoring and certifying for insurance purposes. 1. For the large practices, groups or surgery facilities required to keep on file in a contract form itemized, scheduled preventive maintenance for insurance or other purposes where a designated vendor/provider must be documented. This version is negotiated per quote and contract drawn and signed. 2. The second practical, non-binding agreement offered by Metro Sterilizer or requested by the clinic manager/ doctor for an annual inspection on location for preventive maintenance and insurance certification sticker. This onsite inspection is : Annual with certification sticker. Requires inspection of internal hoses, fittings, heaters, leaks, temperature, calibrations and test cycle. Gaskets and filters if needed are EXTRA. Depending on size of autoclave onsite inspections are billed a flat rate of $75.00- $120.00 PLUS parts. (within a 50 mile radius)
3. Every 1-4 years depending on workload and condition of chamber and reservoir, the need for in shop maintenance is recommended. Shop cleaning of autoclave: Chamber, reservoir, trays, and valves. Flushing system (plumbing) to remove residues and trapped build-ups. Sensors, bellows, safety valves parts, etc. are EXTRA. Repairs (unless pre-authorized) must be approved by a faxed itemized estimate before a repair is initaited. A quality loaner is provided free during time of your autoclaves repair. Shop time billed at $75.00 an hour Repairs are guaranteed by a limited 1 year warranty (labor guaranteed, parts EXTRA).
